Method
 

Preparation
  1. Press the spinach until very dry, removing any excess moisture.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the dried spinach, chopped water chestnuts, sour cream, mayonnaise, vegetable soup mix, and chopped green onions.
  3. Mix well until all the ingredients are combined.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour to allow the flavors to meld.
Serving
  1. Serve in a bowl surrounded by crackers, pretzels, or toasted baguette slices for dipping.

Notes
