  • 1/2 cup dried fruits e.g., dates or raisins; these bring natural sweetness.
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder This intensifies the chocolate flavor.
  • 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk This binds everything together and adds creaminess.

Preparation
  1. Melt the dark and milk chocolate in a double boiler until smooth. Watch closely to avoid burning.
  2. In a bowl, mix crushed biscuits, chopped nuts, dried fruits, and cocoa powder.
  3. Stir in the melted chocolate and condensed milk until well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into a lined baking dish and spread evenly.
  5. Refrigerate for about 2 hours or until set.
  6. Cut into bars and serve or package as gifts.

Notes

For a richer taste, consider using a mix of milk and dark chocolate. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about a week.
