  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 2 cups corn flakes Any similar cereal can be used if corn flakes are unavailable.
  • 1 cup mini chocolate eggs For decoration
  • 1-2 tablespoons vegetable oil Optional for smoothness

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine peanut butter and chocolate chips. If desired, add vegetable oil for a smoother mixture.
  2. Microwave on high in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
  3. Once melted, stir in the corn flakes until fully coated.
  4. Drop mounds of the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, shaping each mound as desired.
  5. Top each mound with mini chocolate eggs, pressing them gently into the mixture.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes until set.
  7. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

These haystacks can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. They can be made ahead of time for busy family moments.
