Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and cut it into circles.
- Place a spoonful of pizza sauce on each circle, followed by mozzarella cheese and pepperoni.
- Fold the dough over to create a pocket and seal the edges by pressing with a fork.
- Brush the top of each pocket with beaten egg.
- Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container; they last up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
